Well, I'm up and showered and its just before 9am. This will be the second day now! (Its exhausting) Yesterday, overall, was a success. I was completely worn out by 7pm. I finished work at 4pm and then cooked supper for us, which I haven't done in a while. Made a good cooked meal that is. So I made us steaks and herb/garlic mashed potatoe with some veggies on the side. Turned out quite good.
I was obviously running on a 'high' yesterday. Forcing positivity out of me for people (even if I was behind a computer screen in webconference from 9-4pm) was quite overwhelming. Most days I will be working at home from my computer, but in order for me to get in the mindset of 'work' I have to be up, showered, hair done, etc just to sit down in front of the computer. Just the getting ready part wears me out. But I'm determined to make this work. I'm sick and tired of my past controlling my future. (Sorry, I'm having an angry moment)
Anyways, yes, David also started a new job. (He hasn't been able to work since the car accident) He's working at Gander Hotel helping set up for conferences, meetings, etc.
There is so much change in our lives these past few days. Its scary. To be honest, its too much.
